About the Event

The 18th annual DFW Writers Conference (DFWCon 2026), presented by the DFW Writers' Workshop, is an immersive, two-day in-person conference designed to help writers of all levels elevate their careers.

The program features over 100 craft and business classes, interactive panels, and workshops led by industry professionals and established authors. Crucially, registration includes one complimentary 1-on-1 pitch or consultation session with an active literary agent or editor. Additional highlights include a Friday night pre-conference mixer, a Saturday night cocktail party, and full meal service (continental breakfast, lunch, and midday snacks).

Attendees can also participate in read-aloud feedback sessions, explore the on-site bookstore, and connect with a wide array of vendors.
