Alice Whitwham

Alice Whitwham is a literary agent at The Cheney Agency. Raised in London, she studied literature at Cambridge University before earning a master’s degree in poetry and interpretive theory from the University of Chicago. Her background includes roles at The Chicago Review, The Paris Review, 192 Books, and McNally Jackson Books, where she served as marketing director and founded the non-profit Writers In Public. She began her agenting career at The Zoe Pagnamenta Agency handling UK rights before moving to The Cheney Agency.
