Liza DeBlock

Liza DeBlock, originally from upstate New York, began her publishing career in 2018 as an assistant at Eccles Fisher Associates, where she gained experience in international literary scouting. She later transitioned into literary agenting, working alongside industry professionals including Robert Caskie and Silé Edwards while managing international rights for prominent bestselling authors. Named a Bookseller Rising Star in 2022, she collaborates with Black Girl Writers and builds a curated list of fiction and non-fiction authors, handling their rights across the UK, US, and international markets.
