Najla Mamou

Najla Mamou is a literary agent at Savvy Literary who volunteers as co-chair of the American Association of Literary Agents' (AALA) Professional Development committee and serves on the People of Publishing planning committee. A passionate educator, she has taught courses at various writing conferences on first chapters, broken writing rules, self-editing, and historical voice. She focuses on historical, crime/suspense, and crossover fiction, as well as narrative non-fiction, memoir, and STEM/social justice topics.
