Patricia Nelson

Patricia Nelson is a literary agent at Looking Glass Literary, joining in 2025 after spending over a decade at Marsal Lyon Literary Agency. Her list includes New York Times and USA Today bestsellers, a National Book Award finalist, and ALA Youth Media Award winners (Printz Honor, Stonewall Honor). She holds a B.A. from the College of William and Mary, an M.A. in English Literature from USC, and an M.A. in Gender Studies from UT Austin. Prior to agenting, she spent four years as a university instructor of literature and writing. She represents Young Adult, Middle Grade, adult book club/upmarket fiction, and commercial women's fiction.
