Renee Runge

Renee joined Spencerhill Associates in 2025 as an Associate Agent specializing in children’s literature, after previously serving as an assistant at the agency. A South Florida native, she earned a B.A. in English from the University of Florida (2021) and a dual M.A. in Children’s Literature and M.F.A. in Writing for Children from Simmons University (2024). Her background includes interning at Red Fox Literary and serving as a Graduate Fellow for The Horn Book. As a neurodivergent writer and agent, she focuses on Picture Books, Middle Grade, and Young Adult fiction, advocating for underrepresented creators and stories touching on real-world issues.
