Sarah Lazin

Sarah Lazin holds an MA in history from New York University. She began her publishing career on the editorial staff of Rolling Stone in 1971 before establishing Rolling Stone Press in 1976, which she represented for three decades. She created book packaging divisions for major publications including Ms. Magazine, The Village Voice, Musician, Playboy, and Vibe, and co-founded the American Book Producers Association, where she served as past president. She retired from active submissions in 2024.
