Sera Rivers

Sera Rivers (pronounced 'S-air-ah') is a literary agent at Speilburg Literary Agency. She holds an MFA in Writing for Children with a concentration in YA novels from Simmons University, and her YA memoir 'The Wicked Ones' won the 2016 PEN New England Susan P. Bloom Children’s Book Discovery Award. Before agenting, she worked in educational publishing for seven years writing and editing across age groups. She specializes in subversive horror, grounded sci-fi, speculative fiction, rom-coms, and voice-driven YA and picture books, prioritizing underrepresented and marginalized creators.
